The 1998/99 season was Gabriel Batistuta's last full campaign at Fiorentina — and he made it count. Fiorentina finished runners-up in Serie A, their highest league finish in years, with Batigol firing in goal after goal home and away. This white away shirt was worn across Italy as the Viola mounted their most serious title challenge in a generation.

Batistuta would leave for Roma the following summer, but this away shirt is the final chapter of one of football's greatest love stories between a player and a city. Worn on the road, in enemy territory, by the man Florence worshipped like no other.
